Oil pan ( sump ) screws torque? 2005 Elise

I have searched the manual and this forum.

I can't find a torque value for the machine screws that hold the stock oil pan to the block on my 2005 Elise.

Is there a graphic torque chart in the shop manual that is immune to searches?

Anyhow, what's the torque?

2006 Lotus Elise 33 000 km in Montréal, Canada

For sale is my 2006 lotus elise that i purchased in 2013.

Car was purchased with a salvage title, repaired, repainted, inspected and i have used it on weekends the last two summer, moving on to a new project.

Exige sccops,
VF Exhaust with rear panel delete
Exige diffuser
Sector111 Rear brace kit.
Sector111 kill swith + battery tie down
KN air filter.

Car came with the rag top, i purchased a hard top and had it painted, both tops will come with the car.

Full paint in 2013
New set of Potenza RE01R
Wheel have been professionaly powder coated.


Great car really enjoyed it, moving to a new toy.

Car is located in Montreal, it is a canadian car, cluster in kilometers.

the 33 000km = 20 000 milles

The CAD$ is worth almost nothing now, looking at the exchange rate today 35 000$ CAD = 28 000$ USD

an Esprit on bump roads

I'm planning to get my first Esprit soon (S3) and was wondering if anyone had any experience with the shocks and struts wearing quickly on rough roads. I live in Atlanta and the roads are complete ****. Does anyone have any suggestions on preventative measures other than changing things often? Hoping to avoid some teeth chattering.

Exige S fluid leak

I have a 2007 Exige S and I'm trying to identify a small fluid drip from the underside of the car near the front driver side wheel...near the radiator. I changed the oil today and the undercarriage tray did not show any signs of trouble. However, I do tend to have to add antifreeze after it has been sitting for a while. I garage it in the winter and the antifreeze reservoir is typically near the bottom in the spring.

When I look under the front, it appears that it could be migrating from somewhere else, but I doubt all the way from the engine. The underside of the car near where the drip ultimately falls appear to be wet as well. I cannot tell what type of fluid it is. It's slippery, but isn't thick like oil. It appear to be clear or at least translucent. After test driving the car post-oil change, there were a couple drips on the garage floor after ~30min. Nothing more in the last couple hours. The car had been sitting for the winter. When I moved it to change the oil, there was some evidence of a small leak while it sat.

Any suggestions? What are the possibilities of fluid leaking in the front half of the car? What would be the best way to look at the radiator area? Is there a panel on the top that I could remove, or do I need to get at it from underneath?

2006 Laser Blue Lotus Elise. Clean title, never tracked and always garaged. Except for multivex mirrors, this car is all stock. 10,730 miles. I am the second owner and I bought it with 300 miles on it. This is a very clean car and I have always treated it well. It has seen rain only twice! Located in Albuquerque, NM. Hoosier A6 16/17" Tire Set for Sale

Set of four Hoosier A6 tires for sale. Perfect size for the Elise & Exige 16/17" wheels. The A6 compound is preferred for the Lotus platform as the softer compound reaches correct operating temperature compared to the R6.

These tires have been stored in a bedroom in my house. They were last run a little over a year ago. Decent amount of life left in them.

$520 for the entire set shipped. Will not sell as individual pieces.

V8 Transmission 2nd gear disappeared

I own a 2004 FE Esprit. Totally stock with 24,000 miles.
2nd gear just disappeared. Normal low speed acceleration from 1st to 2nd then to third. Upon returning to 2nd, the transmission just free wheeled. There was absolutely no noise or report of any kind. All other gears work fine and the linkage appears to function properly.
Any thoughts?
What is involved in removing the engine and transmission to take a look inside?
What are my options?

Don't want to sell, finances force it. Car was built in 09 and is a factory P30 Pack car. This includes an LSD, revised tightened suspension, lightweight 2-piece brakes, alcantara steering wheel, and special interior trim. Also has optional Harman Kardon sound with iPhone 5/6 integration & aux, rear sunshade, head seats, and fold-down rear seats. Essentially every option.

Has just had a $2,400 service including service A, brake pads and fluid, transmission service with gaskets and oil, and rear diff service with gaskets and oil.

In addition I have had professionally installed: Revozport AMG F1/DTM Pacecar front bumper with daytime running lights, 19" OZ Racing Superturismo LMs 8.5 & 9.5 wrapped in 245/35ZR-19 & 265/30ZR-19 Michelin Pilot Supersports, and OEM 2012 Single Fin front grille. Have piles of receipts for everything except light window tint, side markers, and h-pipe each of which were done by the previous owner. Car's 6.2 sounds absolutely evil :shift: (you guys already know).

Up for sale is my hard top from my phantom black 2008 Lotus Elise SC. Great condition. Headliner does sag a bit but can be fixed for about $100 if the small sagging bothers you. I'll take any fair offers to get it out locally. This roof also has the extra hardware that holds it down in the rear for extra safety.
